Jiakang He is a Professor of
Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology at Guangxi University and Vice Director
of the Guangxi Engineering Research Center for Veterinary Medicine. He received
a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Pharmaceutics from the College of Animal
Science and Technology, Guangxi University, Nanning, China in 2001 and a
Master’s degree in Basic Veterinary Medicine from the College of Animal Science
and Veterinary Medicine, Jilin University in 2007. He obtained a doctorate
degree in Basic Veterinary Medicine from the Department of Veterinary
Pharmacology and Toxicology, College of Veterinary Medicine, China Agricultural
University in 2010. He served as a Visiting Scholar in Pharmaceutics and Drug
Delivery at the Department of Pharmaceutics and Drug Delivery, School of
Pharmacy, the University of Mississippi in July 2015. His research interests
include veterinary pharmacology and toxicology and veterinary pharmaceutics.
Zhengmin Liang is an assistant professor at the School of
Animal Science and Technology, Guangxi University. She received her
undergraduate degree from Guangxi University in 2014 and her master’s degree
from the same university in 2017. She received her PhD from China Agricultural
University in 2022. Her research interests include research on the mechanisms
of action of small molecule peptides and natural drugs for antibacterial
immunity. The projects she has chaired include the Guangxi University
High-Level Talent Scientific Research Startup Fund Project, the Guangxi Science
and Technology Base and Talent Special Project—Molecular Mechanism of the
Antimicrobial Peptide BNBD5 Regulating Respiratory Mucosal Immunity, and the
projects she has participated in include the Guangxi Key R&D Project—Comprehensive
Prevention of Pathogenic Diarrhea in Livestock and Poultry Control technology
innovation and integrated application.
