Prof. Jiayu Gu received her Ph.D.
degree in biotechnology from the School of Life Sciences, Peking University in
2007. From March 2010 to August 2012, she was a postdoctoral fellow at the
Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, majoring in Crop Genetics and
breeding. Since August 2012, she has been working at the Institute of Crop
Science, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Her research interests are
the molecular mechanisms of wheat mutagenesis breeding.
Prof. Yongdun Xie received his Ph.D. degree in
Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from China Agricultural University in 2010.
From 2007 to 2009, he co-cultivated at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center
in the United States. Since July 2010, he has been working at the Institute of
Crop Science, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, serving as assistant
researcher, associate researcher, and researcher. Since December 2016, he has
been the deputy Director of Crop Genetics and Breeding Center. He is also
deputy Secretary General of the Molecular Breeding Committee of the China Crop
Society; Executive Director of China Atomic Energy Agricultural Society,
Director of the Science Popularization and Advisory Working Committee;
Executive Director, Chinese Society of Agricultural Biotechnology. His research
interests are wheat mutagenesis breeding and wheat molecular breeding.
Prof. Hongchun Xiong received her Ph.D. degree from
China Agricultural University in 2012. From 2019 to 2020, she was a visiting
scholar at the University of California, Davis. Since 2019, she has been an
associate researcher at the Institute of Crop Science, Chinese Academy of
Agricultural Sciences. She is mainly engaged in the research of wheat
mutagenesis mechanism, gene discovery of excellent mutant materials, and its
breeding application.
