Dr. Przemyslaw Jozwik is an Assistant Professor at the National Centre for Nuclear Research (NCBJ), Poland, where he also completed his PhD studies in 2017. He completed a post-doc fellowship at the Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), Portugal, from 2017-2021. He recently led a bilateral (NCBJ-IST) project DIGaN ("Defect transformations in ion-bombarded GaN. Role of the intrinsic electric field"). He has published 24 papers in various journals. His teaching disciplines include aspects of the interaction of ion beams with matter. His career focuses on developing Monte Carlo simulations to analyze ion channeling data (McChasy-1 code). His interests include cosmology, material defects, and the Eurovision Song Contest.
