Dr. Praneet Opanasopit obtained her BPharm (Hons) in 1992 from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Silpakorn University, and her MSc in Pharmacy in 1995 from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. In October 1995, she was permanently appointed as a Lecturer at Silpakorn University. In 1998, she received the Monbusho Scholarship to study in Japan and was awarded her PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2002 from the Department of Drug Delivery Research, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kyoto University (supervisor: Professor Mitsuru Hashida). She was promoted to Assistant Professor in 2002, Associate Professor in 2006, and Professor in 2016. Her research topics mainly include drug delivery, chitosan, biopolymer, nano- and micro-fabrication, and microneedle patches. She has published more than 340 publications in peer-reviewed journals, with a h-index of 48 (Scopus, May 2024).
Dr. Harm HogenEsch is Distinguished Professor of Immunopathology in the Department of Comparative Pathobiology and Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Programs in the College of Veterinary Medicine. He received his DVM Degree cum laude from the University of Utrecht in 1984 and his PhD from the University of Illinois in 1989. From 1989 to 1993, he was a Pathologist at the Institute for Ageing and Vascular Research, TNO, Leiden, The Netherlands. In 1993, he moved to Purdue University as an Assistant Professor and was promoted to Professor in 2001. His research topics mainly include vaccine adjuvants, vaccine development, and immunopathology of inflammatory diseases. He has published more than 170 publications in peer-reviewed journals with, a h-index of 51 (Scopus, May 2024).
