Prof. Fabrizio Mancin is a Full Professor in the Department of Chemical l Sciences, University of Padova. He graduated from the University of Padova and obtained his Ph.D. degree in Chemical Sciences in 2000. He served as a Postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Chemistry (University of Toronto) from 2001 to 2002, an Assistant Professor from 1999 to 2010, and an Associate Professor from 2010 to 2016. He has been working as a Full Professor since 2016. In 2014 he was awarded the “Research Prize for Molecular Interactions” from the Italian Chemical Society (SCI). His research topics mainly include supramolecular chemistry and expanded nanoscience.
Prof. Emanuele Papini is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical Sciences, University of Padova. He obtained his Master's degree from the University of Padova in 1983, and his Ph.D. degree from the University of Padova in 1990. He served as a Research Assistant at the University of Verona from 1983 to 1985, a Researcher at the University of Padova from 1991 to 1998, a Research Associate at University College, London from 1993 to 1994, as a Professor (Associate) at the Università degli Studi di Bari Aldo Moro from 1998 to 2001, and as a Professor (Associate) at the University of Padova from 2001 to 2020. He has been working as a Principal Investigator at the University of Padova since 2005. His research interests include nanoparticle preparation, cell culture, nanobiotechnology, macrophages, membranes, helicobacter, cytokines, and monocyte-macrophages.
