Author Biographies

Helong Yu is a Dean and professor of the School of Information Technology, Jilin Agricultural University. He received his master’s and doctorate degrees from Jilin University. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from Chongqing University. He completed his postdoctoral at Tsinghua University. He was a visiting scholar at Macy University, New Zealand. He is the head of the national first-class specialty (computer science and technology), the leader of the class B (computer science and technology) discipline of the advantageous characteristic discipline in Jilin Province, the head of the Jilin Precision Agriculture and Big Data Engineering Research Center, the head of the pilot specialty for the education and training plan of outstanding engineers in Jilin Province’s colleges and universities (the Internet of Things Project), and a member of the Jilin Provincial Computer Teaching Steering Committee. He is in charge of the first-class course Computer Network in Jilin Province. He is currently the executive vice president of the Smart Agriculture Research Institute. He is the winner of the national second prize in the National College Teacher Teaching Innovation Competition. He is a director of the Jilin Provincial Computer Society, an executive director of the Jilin Provincial E-Commerce Society, and the vice chairman of the Changchun Branch of the China Computer Society.
