Dr. Neil C. Hansen is a Professor of Environmental Science at Brigham Young University. He completed his master’s studies in soil science at Brigham Young University and his doctoral studies in soil science and soil physics at the University of Minnesota. His research and teaching address water use and conservation in agricultural and natural systems. His work includes areas such as drylands, limited irrigation agroecosystems and land management for water quality protection. He has published his work in peer-reviewed journals including "Agronomy Journal", "Journal of Environmental Quality", "Soil Science Society of America Journal", "Journal of Soil and Water Conservation" and "Soil and Tillage Research".
