Konrad Górski is an Associate Professor at the Austral University of Chile in Valdivia. After the completion of BSc and MSc degrees in Biology at Warsaw University of Life Sciences (Poland) in 2005, he continued his studies at Wageningen University in the Netherlands and obtained a PhD in Aquatic Ecology in 2010. Subsequently, he undertook postdoctoral positions at the University of Waikato in New Zealand and University of Concepción in Chile. His research interests are centered in aquatic ecology with an emphasis on geodiversity–biodiversity relations, the ecological functioning of large rivers, and the recruitment and life histories of fish.
