Pablo Palacios Játiva received his B.S. degree in electronics and telecommunications engineering from the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL), Guayaquil, Ecuador, in 2013; his master’s degree in communications network engineering in 2017; and his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering in 2023 from the University of Chile, Santiago, Chile. He is currently a Professor at the Universidad Diego Portales, Santiago, Chile. His current research interests include modeling, design, and performance analysis of optical wireless communication and RF communication systems. He has served as a Technical Program Committee (TPC) Member and a Reviewer for multiple conferences, as well as a Reviewer for journals such as IEEE Access, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEEE Communications Magazine, and MDPI.
