Prof. Chao Jin has a position as an associate professor and Ph.D. supervisor and is currently working at the School of Environmental Science and Engineering, Tianjin University, Tianjin, China. She holds a Ph.D. from the School of Chemical Engineering, Tianjin University. She is a doctoral candidate jointly trained by the University of Frankfurt in Germany. She was a lecturer at the School of Agricultural and Biological Engineering at Tianjin University. She teaches undergraduate courses “Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development” and “Environmental Biochemistry” and graduate courses “Genetic Engineering and Metabolomics”. Her main research interests are bio-based fuel preparation and fuel characteristic analysis; life cycle research on the entire process chain of bio-based fuel production-storage and transportation-combustion emissions; and ecological and environmental effects of new bio-based alternative fuel combustion emission products. In recent years, she has published more than 50 SCI papers, 10 patents, and a single paper with a maximum citation count of 700 times.
Prof. Guolong Zang is an associate professor at Tianjin University. He received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and Technology (2008) from Southeast University, and a Ph.D (2013) in Environmental Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China. He was a post-doctoral staff member at Nankai University (2013-2015). In 2015 he joined the School of Environmental Science and Engineering at Tianjin University as an associate professor. His research covers Resource Utilization of Waste, Environmental Function Material and Bio-electrochemical Systems.
