Roman Kulagin received his PhD degree in materials science and engineering (2014). He worked as a researcher at the Donetsk Institute for Physics and Engineering, Ukraine and gained extensive experience in the scientific and technological aspects of metal forming through his employment at industrial enterprises in the Ukraine and abroad. Currently, he holds a Projects Leader position at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany. His recent research is concerned with design and manufacture of architectured materials.
