He is currently a Senior Member of IEEE. Franklin Parrales received Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees in Computer Science from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), Madrid, Spain, in 2020 and 2015, respectively. He also received the M.Sc. degree in Artificial Intelligence from Technical University of Madrid (UPM), Madrid, Spain, in 2019. Since 2016, he has been an Assistant Professor of Computer Science in Software Engineering, University of Guayaquil. He is currently focused on Requirements Engineering Education, Serious Games, eHealth, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence. He has been granted the HIPEAC collaboration grant (H2020-ICT-2015-687689) September 2017–January 2018, for collaboration between UCM and the Josef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana, and HIPEAC collaboration grant (H2020-ICT-2017-779656) October 2019–January 2020, for collaboration between UCM and the INESC-ID in Lisboa.
