Dr. Gowri Shankar holds a Ph.D. from Manipal Institute of Technology and is currently a Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the same institute. He served as an Engineer at Hiten Fasteners Private Limited (1998–2001), a Senior Lecturer at Bahubali College of Engineering (2001–2007), and a Quality and Production Engineer at Bharat Earth Movers Limited (2007–2011). He joined Manipal Institute of Technology as an Associate Professor in 2011. His main areas of research include the machining of materials and the heat treatment of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
Nitesh Kumar is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal. He is a member of the Department Undergraduate Project Committee. He received his MTech degree in Mechanical and
Manufacturing from Manipal Institute of Technology in 2010. He was a Research Scholar at the School of Mathematics, Computer Science Engineering, City University, London, U.K.
