Chong Chen has a position as an Associate Professor at the College of Information Science and Engineering/College of Artificial Intelligence, China University of Petroleum, Beijing, China. He graduated from the School of Information Science & Engineering, Lanzhou University, and received his B.S. (2010), M.S. (2012), and Ph.D. (2017). He used to work at Cold and Arid Regions Environmental and Engineering Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences, as an Intern (2011–2014). He was also a visiting scholar (2014–2015) at the ETH Zurich. His research interests include numerical simulation, parameter inversion, machine learning, information fusion, and uncertainty analysis.
