Graduated in Law at the University of Eastern Piedmont in September 2023 with a European Union Law thesis on biodiversity protection in mountain areas. She is currently a scholar in the following areas: European Law, biodiversity conservation, mountain area development, agriculture, gastronomy, and food traditions.
Enrico Ferrero (male) earned his PhD in Geophysics in 1993; then he became an Assistant Professor at the University of Piemonte Orientale (Italy); since 2006, he has been an Associate Professor, and in 2016, he obtained the national qualification for Full Professor in Physics of the Earth and Circumterrestrial medium. He is a Research Associate at the Institute for the Sciences of Atmosphere and Climate of the National Research Council (CNR, Italy). His main research interests are atmospheric physics, atmospheric boundary layer meteorology, turbulence, atmospheric dispersion modeling, and physical and numerical models. He is the author of more than 100 papers published in international journals and conference proceedings. Recently, he promoted the course “Civil Protection and Environmental Sustainability” at UPO. He is a representative member of his Department in the UPO4Sustainability Center and a referent of the table on climate change of the Network of Universities for Sustainable Development. He is involved in the Italian Association for Atmospheric Science and Meteorology. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the International Journals Advances in Meteorology and Atmosphere.
