Dr. Evangelin Ramani Sujatha is a Professor of the Centre for Advanced Research in Environment at the School of Civil Engineering, Shanmugha Arts Science Technology and Research Academy, Deemed University, where she obtained her PhD in 2008. She obtained her ME in Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering at the College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University. Her research interests include Biopolymers in Geotechnical Engineering, Soil Stabilization, Fibres for Soil Stabilization, Mapping Natural Hazards, Susceptibility Mapping, and Risk Analysis.
Dr. Jair Arrieta Baldovino is a Lecturer at the Univesidad de Cartagena, Colombia. He obtained a doctorate in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Geotechnics (2018–2021) on the Postgraduate Program in Civil Engineering (PPGEC) of the Federal University of Technology-ParanĂ¡-UTFPR with a CAPES DS scholarship. He received a master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering at PPGEC from UTFPR (2016-2018) with a PAEC scholarship from the Coimbra Group of Brazilian Universities (GCUB), Organization of American States (OAS), and Pan American Health Organization (OPS)/CAPES Announcement 2015. His research interests include ground improvement, unsaturated soils, paving materials, and optimization structures. He is currently conducting research focused on soil geopolymer improvement based on ground glass waste, lime sludge, coffee waste, RAP-activated cellulose ash, cement, sodium hydroxide, sodium chloride, and recycled plaster.
