Prof. Libin Du graduated from the Harbin Institute of Technology in 2004, majoring in mechanical and electronic engineering, with a doctorate in engineering, and currently serves as the executive dean of the College of Ocean Science and Engineering, Shandong University of Science and Technology, China. He is the executive director of the Marine Resources Development Branch of the China Ocean Engineering Consulting Association, a standing member of the Marine Survey Professional Committee of the Chinese Oceanographic Society, and an expert on national marine public welfare special strategies. His main research directions are (1) Marine intelligent information sensing and fusion technology: intelligent sensors, marine information communications, image processing, big data fusion, etc.; (2) Ocean laser detection technology: bathymetric lidar, atmospheric lidar, etc.; (3) Ocean acoustic detection technology: hydroacoustic detection, hydroacoustic communication, signal processing, etc.; and (4) Marine intelligent observation system: intelligent buoys, submersible buoys, seabed observation networks, underwater robots, etc.
Prof. Zhichao Lv currently works as a lecturer and master's tutor at the College of Ocean Science and Engineering, Shandong University of Science and Technology, China. He graduated from Harbin Engineering University in 2019 with a doctorate in engineering and was a postdoctoral fellow in marine technology at Ocean University of China. He mainly engaged in research in the fields of underwater acoustic communications and underwater acoustic detection. He participated as a backbone in more than 10 national level projects such as national key research and development projects, national marine public welfare projects, and JKW innovation projects.
