Prof. Dr. Hang Liu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Apparel, Merchandising, Design and Textiles at Washington State University. She received her Ph.D. in Textile Sciences from the University of Georgia, and her M.S. and B.S. in Textile Engineering at Donghua University. Her research interests include polymer nanofiber production and applications, conductive fibers/fabrics for smart wearables, textile waste recycling, and 3D printing functional textiles.
Prof. Shyam S. Sablani is a Professor at Washington State University. He received his Ph.D. in Food Process Engineering at McGill University, Canada in 1996, his MS in Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India in 1990, and his BE in Mechanical Engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Ravishanker University, Raipur, India in 1986. His current research interests include the development of sustainable polymer packaging for food applications and a materials science approach to improving the safety and quality of frozen and dehydrated food.
Prof. Dr. Qinglin Wu is a professor of agriculture at Louisiana State University. He received his Ph.D. in 1993 in Forest Products with a minor in Mechanical Engineering (Solid Mechanics) at Oregon State University, his M.Eng.Sci. in 1989 in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Tasmania, and his BS in 1983 in Agricultural Engineering at Henan Agricultural University. His research interests include wood/natural fiber polymer composites, biomaterials from natural polymers, composite durability, and engineering performance, and nano-composite materials.
