Dr. Yan Yan is a Postdoctoral
Research Associate at the University of Rochester Medical Center, Rochester,
NY, USA. He obtained his B.S. in Telecommunication Engineering from Chongqing
University in 2013, and his Master’s degree in Computer Science and Ph.D.
degree in Biomedical Engineering from Wayne State University in 2015 and 2021,
respectively. He became a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of
Rochester Medical Center in September 2022. Dr. Yan specializes in pioneering
ultrasound and photoacoustic technologies and advanced medical imaging techniques,
and is passionate about the intersection of engineering, medicine, and
technology.
