Dr. Gennaro Pipino currently works Villa Erbosa Hospital, Gruppo San Donato, Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology He specializes in Orthopedics and Traumatology. He is a specialist in knee prostheses (over 5,000 operations), knee arthroscopy (over 10,000 operations), cartilage transplants with stem cells using the Joint Rep technique, knee cartilage transplants (owner of the first experimental scientific study at world on cartilage regeneration), hip prostheses (over 1800 operations), shoulder surgery (over 8000 operations) and ozone therapy. He is the creator and designer of minimally invasive surgical instruments for knee prostheses. Actively engaged in the study, design and research of minimally invasive prosthetic systems and related materials.
Dr. Alessio Giai Via currently works at Azienda Ospedaliera San Camillo-Forlanini, Roma, Italy. He completed his PhD studies at the School of Medicine, Università degli Studi di Torino. From 2015 to 2016, he worked as a Fellow (Orthopaedic surgery-hip surgery) at Clinica Las Condes, Santiago de Chile, Chile. He completed the ESSKA fellowship in 2016 in Paris, France. He was Visiting Fellow at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2012, London, UK. He is also a member of the committe of the Italian Society of Muscle, Ligaments and Tendons.
Riccardo Maria Lanzetti is a Professor in diseases of the musculoskeletal system at the integrated rehabilitation course in the orthopedic and traumatological area at the ‘Sapienza’ University of Rome. He completed his PhD studies at the University of Rome. He is also a member of the arthroscopy committee of the Italian Society of Knee Arthroscopy, Upper Limb Sports, Cartilage and Orthopedic Technologies (SIAGASCOT). His research interests mainly include Anterior Cruciate Ligament; Sports Injuries; Knee; Sports Medicine; Arthroscopy; Orthopedic Surgery; Upper Limb Surgery; Sports Science; Physiotherapy; Biomechanics.
Prof. Francesco Oliva currently works as Chairman of Orthopaedics and Traumatology of University of Roma San Raffaele Telematica. He completed his PhD in Locomotor System Diseases University of Rome “Tor Vergata”. He is one of the co-founders with Prof. Nicola Maffulli of the Femur Project at the San Leonardo e Ruggi di Aragona Hospital in Salerno and co-winner of the Horizon 2020 Marie Curie Project on new Tendon Tissue Engineering Technologies. He currently deals with Minimally Invasive Surgery in the field of Tendon Repairs, Regenerative Medicine of Tendon Cartilage and Arthroprosthetic as well as Arthroscopic surgery.
