Author Biographies

Lei Shan, male, born in 1997, is a Ph.D. candidate, mainly engaged in the research of mining rock mechanics, mine pressure and rock formation control, and mine dynamic disaster prevention. In the past 5 years, he has presided over and participated in 5 longitudinal scientific research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Natural Science Foundation of Heilongjiang, and participated in more than 20 horizontal scientific research projects, such as the research on the emergency management of the "three preventions" in the rainy season of the 16 million tons of super-large mine in Shendong Coal Shangwan Coal Mine, the study on the movement law of overburden in the 2201 deep mining face of Shaozhai Coal Mine, the research on the mechanism and control technology of the roof of the fully mechanized mining face in the fold structure area, and the in-situ stress test of the new coal mine of Longmei Group. He has won 10 provincial and ministerial awards and above, published 5 academic papers, and authorized 2 patents.
Fukun Xiao, male, born in 1971, Ph.D., professor and doctoral supervisor of Heilongjiang University of Science and Technology, is currently the Dean of the School of Mining Engineering of Heilongjiang University of Science and Technology and the Director of the Heilongjiang Provincial Key Laboratory of Ground Pressure Control and Gas Control for Deep Coal Mine Mining. He is mainly engaged in scientific research in mine rock mechanics, mine pressure and rock formation control, and mine disaster prevention. He has presided over 3 National Natural Science Foundation of China projects, 7 provincial and ministerial projects such as key scientific research projects of the Ministry of Education, Natural Science Foundation of Heilongjiang and Department of Education Key Scientific Research of Heilongjiang, as well as a number of horizontal scientific research projects; he has won 3 provincial and ministerial awards and published 64 academic papers as the first author, published 5 textbooks and monographs, and authorized 8 invention patents and 5 utility model patents.
Gang Liu, male, born in 1986, Ph.D., associate professor of Heilongjiang University of Science and Technology, is currently the Director of the Department of Mining Engineering, School of Mining Engineering, Heilongjiang University of Science and Technology, and concurrently serves as the director of the Mining Rock Mechanics Branch of the Chinese Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering and the safety production expert of the Heilongjiang Coal Production Safety Administration. He is mainly engaged in the research of mining rock mechanics, mine pressure and control, and dynamic disaster prevention. In the past 5 years, he has presided over and participated in more than 20 horizontal and vertical scientific research projects, such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Outstanding Youth Project of the Heilongjiang Natural Science Foundation, and the 930 Permanent Refuge Chamber and Water Tank Impact Risk Assessment of the Tangkou Coal Industry Company. He has won a third prize of Heilongjiang Science and Technology Award and a first prize of Jixi Science and Technology Progress Award; he has published 15 academic papers as the first author, including 6 SCI/EI indexes, 6 software copyrights, 3 textbooks and monographs, 4 authorized invention patents and 6 utility model patents.
Kai Xie, male, born in 1998, is a Ph.D. candidate, is mainly engaged in the research of mine collapse body, rock mechanics, and discrete element numerical simulation. In the past 5 years, he has presided over and participated in 4 longitudinal scientific research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Natural Science Foundation of Heilongjiang, participated in more than 10 horizontal scientific research projects such as the research on the movement law of overburden in the 2201 deep mining face of Shaozhai Coal Mine, the research on the mechanism and control technology of the topping of the large mining face in the fold structure area, the identification of gas grade in the Tuanjie Coal Mine, and the detection of transient electromagnetic method in the Hongyun Coal Mine, and published 5 academic papers and authorized 2 patents.
