Henrik Siboni is a PhD Candidate at The Department of Pharmaceutical Technology & Biopharmacy and The Department of Physical Chemistry at the University of Graz. He completed his Master's degree in Physics at the University of Southern Denmark and is currently focussing on atomic force microscopy for pharmaceutical applications. He is additionally engaged in teaching and science communication.
Dr. Ivana Ruseska is the University Assistant at the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Biopharmacy (Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences) at the University of Graz. She received her Master’s degree at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje and completed her PhD studies at the Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz. Her research is focused on the cellular uptake and trafficking of peptide- and lipid-based nanostructured drug delivery systems for miRNA. Previously, she was a part of a research project focused on the development of polymeric nanocarriers as delivery systems for anticancer drugs. Her main goal was to study the uptake of the nanocarriers in a cancer cell line under varying conditions, as well as to achieve active targeting.
Prof. Dr. Andreas Zimmer is a Full Professor and the Head of the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Karl-Franzens University of Graz, Graz, Austria. He completed his PhD studies at the Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main. His areas of expertise are pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical technology, biopharmacy, colloidal drug delivery, nanoparticles, liposomes, nanoemulsions, lipids, drug targeting, and hot melt coating.
