Author Biographies

Neculăeș Marius, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at “Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University of Iași. In 2004, he obtained a bachelor's degree in physiotherapy; in 2006 he graduated with a master's degree in "Physiotherapy and Medical Recovery Through Physical Methods" at “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi. His doctoral studies were completed in 2012 at “Grigore T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Iași with an orthopedics specialty. Within the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, he held the position of Director of the Research Department between 2016 and 2020, and he has been the Vice-Dean of the faculty since 2020. His practical experience comes from exercising the profession of a physiotherapist from 2004 to now, and his leadership positions within recovery clinics including Ortotech (2005-2008), the Arcadia Hospital (2010–2012), and KineGo (2015–present). His research activity is supported by his membership in two research projects and five POSDRU projects. From 2009 to now, he has held the position of President of the Professional Association of Physical Therapists of Moldova.
Pablo Hernández Lucas graduated in physiotherapy in 2012. Since then, he has worked as a physiotherapist who is responsible for the health area in the municipal sports center BeOne. At the same time, he has taken several courses on therapeutic exercise and manual therapy and has completed three masters: a master's degree in Osteopathic Techniques of the Locomotor System (2014), a master's degree in Exercise Prescription in Chronic Diseases and Special Populations (2019), and a master's degree in Research in Physical Activity, Sport, and Health (2019). He has also participated as a teacher in more than 100 courses and postgraduate courses in different universities, physiotherapy associations, hospitals, and continuing education centers. Since 2015, he has been an Associate Professor in Health Sciences at the University of Vigo. Currently, he combines physiotherapy care and teaching with development as a researcher. He has published 15 research articles indexed in JCR journals. Finally, he has been a member of the therapeutic exercise commission of the Galician Association of Physiotherapists for 4 years.
Lucaci Paul, Ph.D. is a Lecturer at ''Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University of Iasi. He has been a physiotherapist since 2013 and was a teaching assistant at ''Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University of Iasi from 2017 to 2020.He became a doctor of medicine in 2020, working in the field of neuromotor rehabilitation. In 2021, he was promoted to being a University Lecturer at ''Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University of Iasi, handling didactic activity, courses, and practical classes for bachelor's students and master's degree students. He is also a practitioner in the field of physiotherapy with almost 10 years of experience in the functional recovery of patients with neurological, orthopedic, and post-traumatic conditions.  May 2014–September 2017: He was a physiotherapist at Salina Iasi. September 2017–present: He has been a physiotherapist at a KineGo clinic. His research topics mainly include physiotherapy and medical rehabilitation.
