Thomas Kuhar, Ph.D., has been working as a Professor in Department
of Entomology at (Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University) since 2008.
He obtained B.S. from Towson University in 1992, received M.S. from Virginia
Tech in 1996, and earned Ph.D. from Virginia Tech in 2000. Then he pursued Postdoc
in Department of Entomology at Cornell University. From 2001 to 2007, he was an
Assistant Professor in Department of Entomology, Eastern Shore AREC at Virginia
Tech. He is the Editorial Board and Associate editor for Journal of Integrated
Pest Management. He has been the member of Entomological Society of America since
1992, and has been the member of Georgia Entomological Society since 1995. He
is Lifetime Member of Virginia Academy of Science and Founder and President in Virginia
Entomological Society. His research interests mainly focus on Entomology;
pests; IPM; and Pesticide Usage.
