I am working as Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering at the National University of Technology, Islamabad. My journey, enriched by a PhD in Electronics and Electrical Engineering and specialized training in Teaching and Learning, is underpinned by a passion for shaping minds and pushing the boundaries of knowledge. My experience as a dedicated supervisor and mentor, coupled with active participation in various university committees, has allowed me to steer the course of education and quality standards within our department.
My research endeavors span Information and Signal Processing, Robotics, Precision Agriculture, and Renewable Energy. I have led numerous projects as the Principal Investigator, successfully blending theoretical knowledge with practical implementation. This commitment to innovation is reflected in my numerous publications across journals, book chapters, and conferences, as well as in my patent applications.

Muhammad Omer Khan received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, Pakistan, in 2008, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea, in 2015 and 2019, respectively. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering and Technology, Riphah International University, Faisalabad, Pakistan. His research interests include hybrid AC/DC distribution network, multi-terminal DC transmission and distribution networks and renewable energy resources.
