Silvia Katrine Rabelo da Silva is a Professor at the Instituto de Saúde Coletiva, Universidade Federal do Oeste do Pará. She received her M.Sc. in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the Federal University of Pará (UFPA) and earned her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). Her main research interests include microbiology, microbial biotechnology, antibiotics, microbial natural products, actinobacteria, actinomycete, and streptomyces.
