Author Biographies

Connor D. Flynn is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Chemistry at Northwestern University under the supervision of Dr. Shana Kelley. He earned his MSc. in Chemistry under the supervision of Professor Anna Ignaszak from the University of New Brunswick, where he also completed his BSc. in Biology-Chemistry. His research interests include electrochemical sensing, disease diagnostics, and space science.
Dr. Dingran Chang is a Research Scientist in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Northwestern University. He earned his Ph.D. in Biochemistry under the direction of Professor Yingfu Li from the Department of Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences at McMaster University, followed by postdoctoral training with Dr. Shana Kelley in the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Toronto. His research topics include bioanalytical chemistry, functional nucleic acids, and biosensing.
