Anuška Budisavljević graduated from medical school at the University of Zagreb, Croatia in 1997. They specialised in internal medicine in 2007 and subspecialised medical oncology in 2014. They have been working as a medical oncologist at the General Hospital Pula since 2014. From 2021, they have been appointed as the Head of the Oncology Outpatient Clinic and Daily Hospital in the Department of Internal Medicine. Budisavljević's main point of interest is the treatment of the breast cancer and ovarian cancer. They lead and coordinate the Multidisciplinary Team for Breast Cancer and the Multidisciplinary Team for Gynaecological Cancers. They are currently enrolled in a PhD programme, focusing on the psychological resilience of breast cancer patients. Since 2018, they have been a member of the Board Committee of the Croatian Society of Medical Oncology. Within the Society, their main focus of interest is research on and the advances in the treatment of breast cancer and equity of medical care of cancer patients throughout Croatia. They are also a full member of the European Society of Medical Oncology, they have been a member of the Board Committee for the Early Breast Cancer Screening Programme run by the local government.
