Prof. Dr. Wenbing Zhao is a Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Cleveland State University (Cleveland, OH, USA). He received a B.S. degree in Physics from Peking University in 1990, an M.S. degree in Physics from Peking University in 1993, and a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California (Santa Barbara, CA, USA) in 2002. He was awarded the Best Paper Award on Computer Systems of the 2002 International Symposium on Performance Evaluation of Computer and Telecommunication Systems (2002), the Most Promising Research Award of the 2007 Middleware for Web Services Workshop, the Best Paper Award of the 2012 International Conference on Distributed Computing Engineering, and the Distinguished Faculty Award of Cleveland State University (May 2017). He has 219 publications with more than 3000 citations (from Scopus, 17 April 2024) and an h-index of 27. His main research areas include blockchain, distributed computing, computer and network security, applications of machine learning, artificial intelligence, computer vision, and data analytics in various fields.
Dr. Shunkun Yang is a Professor, Masters supervisor, and PhD supervisor at the School of Reliability and Systems Engineering, Beihang University (Beijing, China), and he is also the Deputy Director of AVIC Computer Software Beihang Reliability Management and Evaluation Center. Dr. Yang received a Ph.D. degree in Systems Engineering from the School of Reliability and Systems Engineering, Beihang University in 2011. He served as an Associate Research Scientist at Columbia University (New York, NY, USA) from 2014 to 2015. Moreover, Dr. Yang is a senior member of IEEE. He was awarded the 2023 National Special Support Program Leading Talents. He has 112 publications with more than 1400 citations (Scopus, 17 April 2024) and an h-index of 21. His research interests include reliability, testing, and diagnosis for embedded software, cyber-physical systems, Internet of Things, and intelligent manufacturing.
Prof. Dr. Xiong Luo is a Professor at the School of Computer and Communication Engineering, University of Science and Technology Beijing (China). He served as a Postdoctoral Fellow (assistant researcher) at the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Tsinghua University from January 2005 to December 2006 and as a visiting scholar at the Arizona State University (USA) from April 2012 to April 2013. He was awarded the Beijing Higher Education Distinguished Teacher Award (2022), the Second Prize of the Beijing Science and Technology Award (2018), and the China Communications Journal 2019 Best Paper Award issued by the China Communications Society and IEEE Communications Society, etc. He was selected into the “2020 Top 2% of the World’s Top Scientists” released by Stanford University (USA). He has 249 publications with more than 3800 citations (Scopus, 17 April 2024) and an h-index of 35. His main research areas include data mining and machine learning, complex system modeling and computational intelligence, intelligent optimization control, etc.
