Prof. Dr. Peter Rosenbaum is a Professor of the Department of Pediatrics and an Associate Member of the Department of Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at McMaster University, Canada. He received his M.D. Degree from the McGill University in 1967. He held an inaugural Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in 2001–2014. In 1989, he co-founded the CanChild Centre for Childhood Disability Research. He has held almost 100 peer-reviewed research grants and is a contributing author to over 450 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters. In 2012–2014, he was a consultant to UNICEF’s Expert Consultation on the Collection of Data on Children with Disabilities. His awards include the Ross Award from the Canadian Pediatric Society (2000), an Honorary Doctor of Science degree from Université Laval (2005), the AACPDM’s first Mentorship Award (2007) and its Lifetime Achievement Award (2014). In 2015, he received the inaugural Holland Bloorview Medal of Excellence for outstanding achievement and leadership in making positive global advancements in the field of childhood disabilities. In 2017, he was honored by the University of Haifa with the University’s Carmel Award of Merit. In 2018, he received the Foundation Paralysie Cérébral/Foundation Motrice Prize at the 30th annual meeting of the European Academy of Childhood Disability. In 2022 he was awarded an honorary Fellowship in Paediatrics by the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.

Prof. Dr. Ana Carolina de Campos is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Physical Therapy, Universidade Federal de São Carlos, Brazil. She graduated from the Federal University of Sao Carlos and received his Bachelor’s degree in 2005, an M.Sc. degree in 2009 and a Ph.D. degree in 2012. Then, she served as a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Rehabilitation Medicine Department, National Institutes of Health in 2013–2014. Furthermore, she is a Corresponding Member of the American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine and member of the board of the Latin American Academy for Child Development and Disability. Her main research focuses on Rehabilitation, Neurosciences & Neurology, Evidence-based physical therapy, and Knowledge translation.
