Mr. Neeraj Anand Sharma is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Fiji. He completed his Master of Information Technology, Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology, and Bachelor of Information Technology from the University of Fiji. He has been awarded Gold Medals for outstanding performance at all 3 qualification levels. He has published more than 30 papers in various journals and conferences and is a Member of the IEEE Computer Society. His teaching disciplines include Software Engineering, Programming, AI, and Project Management, and his research interests include Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, IoT, and Software Engineering.
Mr. Rishal Chand is a Tutor in the Computer Science and Mathematics Department at the School of Science and Technology, University of Fiji, with over four years of experience. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, a Postgraduate Diploma in IT, and is nearing the completion of his Master's degree in blockchain development and research. With a focus on academic excellence, Mr. Chand has published research papers in image processing, computer security, data analysis, machine learning, and blockchain technology. As an educator, he imparts foundational and undergraduate-level knowledge across programming, workplace IT, system architecture, and has expertise in multimedia graphics and design, enriching the learning and professional experience.
Mr. Zain Buksh serves as a Project Manager in the Computer Science and Mathematics Department at the School of Science and Technology, University of Fiji. With over three years of experience, he holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, a Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology, and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Information Technology. Mr. Buksh has authored research papers in Health Monitoring, machine learning, and blockchain technology. In his role, he oversees research endeavors focused on blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning.
ABM Shawkat Ali is an Australian academic and researcher of Bangladeshi origin. He obtained his PhD in AI/Machine Learning from Monash University, Australia, in 2005. Currently, he is a Professor at The School of Science and Technology, The University of Fiji and a Data Science Consultant for the industry. He has published over 150 Books, Book Chapters, Journals, and Conference Papers. He has received over 8 million research grants from industry, government, and international communities, such as the EU, USAiD, World Bank, Singapore, Canada, and Australia.
