Gamze Demir received her B.S. degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Kocaeli University, Kocaeli, Turkey, in 2011, and she also received her M.Sc. degree in Automation and Control Engineering from Yildiz Technical University (YTU), Istanbul, Turkey, in 2013. Between 2011 and 2018, she worked as a senior embedded systems engineer. Since September 2018, she has been working as a team leader of embedded system software at the R&D department of Akim Metal A.Ş. She has been involved in many projects related to servo systems and motion control machine design for industrial and defense applications. She has authored and co-authored several conference publications. Her research interests are servo drive systems, motion controllers, robotic control, CNC machines, trajectory planning, AI optimization algorithms, analysis, and optimization.
Revna Acar Vural
received
her M.Sc. and Ph.D. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering –
Electronics Programme from Yildiz Technical University (YTU), Istanbul, Turkey,
in 2004 and 2011, respectively. Between 2013 and 2021, she worked as an
assistant professor in Department of Electronics
and Comm. Eng. of YTU. Since July 2021,
she has been working as an associate professor at the Department of Electronics and Comm. Eng. of YTU. She is
the author or coauthor of more than 50 papers published in peer-reviewed
international journals and conference proceedings. According to Web of Science
Core Collection metrics her H-index is 9. Her current research interests are electronic
circuit design optimization, IoT, and intelligent
systems.
