Prof. Yuanhao Wang has long been committed to the basic scientific research and industrialization of micro- and nanomaterials in the fields of environmental protection, renewable energy, and green building, and has presided over more than 20 national and Guangdong-Hong Kong scientific research projects, with total funding of more than CNY 40 million. As of March 2021, he has cumulatively published 89 high-quality SCI journal papers, with 40 first author/corresponding author JCR region I papers (including a total of 7 papers with IF ≥ 10), a personal h-factor of 25, and has filed for and been granted 13 invention patents. In 2014, he won the Hong Kong Green Building Environmental Protection Award, and in 2016, he won the Gold Medal and Special Prize at the 44th International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva. He won the Gold Medal of the Nuremberg Invention Exhibition in Germany in 2016 and the Gold Medal of the Pittsburgh International Invention Exhibition in 2017. In 2015, Dr. Wang and his team won the 20 million scientific research funding support of Shenzhen Overseas High-level Talents Peacock Plan (team project), and he was successfully selected as one of the twelfth batch of National Thousand Talents Plan, the State Council's Special Allowance Expert, and the team leader of the Peacock Plan for Shenzhen Overseas High-level Talents, Peacock Program Class B talents, and Shenzhen Longhua New District Dragon Dance Huazhang Class A talents title.
