Prof. Ping Yan is the Professor and Deputy Director at
the Lanzhou Institute of Husbandry and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chinese
Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Lanzhou, China. She earned her PhD from the Gansu Agricultural University in 2007.
She is mainly
engaged in animal genetics, breeding, and reproduction.
She won the National Science and Technology Progress Award and provincial Science
and Technology Progress Awards. She
is the chief editor of 10 books, including “Chinese Yak”.
