Ph.D. eng. Dominik Bałaga
Graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics at the Stanisław Staszic Academy of Mining and Metallurgy in Cracow with a specialization in: Automation and Metrology obtaining the degree of M.Sc.
In 2015, he defended his doctoral thesis at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice.
From September 1, 2006 he started working at the KOMAG Institute of Mining Technology as a designer.
Since December 2015, he has been working as an assistant professor in the Division of Machines and Devices.
He deals extensively with issues related to dust reduction spraying systems used in mining, and in particular with conducting comprehensive design and research work in the field of fog nozzles and water mist creation systems.
- Co-author of 29 articles in national and international journals (including 4 independent ones)
- Co-author of 15 chapters in monographs and co-author of one monograph
- Speaker of 21 papers at international conferences,
- Participant of work in more than a dozen research and development projects,
- Co-author of 41 patents.
Brigita Žuromskaitė is an employee of the Faculty of Public Governance and Business at Mykolas Romeris University. Her research interests are: Cultural tourism, safety and security in tourism, regional tourism products, tourism management.
