Dr. Cristyan Manta-Caro holds a Ph.D. in Information and Communication from the University of Granada (2023), an M.Sc. in Information and Telecommunications from the District University of Bogotá, Francisco José de Caldas, Colombia (2007), and a B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering from the same institution (2005). This academic foundation positions him as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Automation, Orchestration, and Network Evolution. With over 20 years of experience, Dr Manta leverages his expertise as a Domain Engagement Partner at Wipro Technologies Ltd, specializing in the Consulting: Comms & Media global business line. He leads transformation and evolution programs for digital and telecommunication service providers (CSPs) across Europe, the UK, and LATAM. His research interests lie in SDN architectures, Future Internet, DevNet & DevOps, Information Retrieval, cloud technologies for IoT, and the Web of Things (WoT).

Dr. Juan M. Fernández-Luna received his degree in Computer Science from the University of Granada, Spain, in 1994 and his Ph.D. degree from the University of Granada in 2001, working on a thesis in which several retrieval models based on Bayesian networks for information retrieval were designed. He is currently a professor in the Computer Science Department at the University of Granada. His main research interests include XML retrieval, working in collaboration with Juan F. Huete and Luis M. de Campos in XML personalization, collaborative IR, recommender systems, and learning to rank, areas in which they have published papers in prestigious journals and international conferences and edited special issues.
