Dr. Xiangyu Meng is an associate chief physician at Liaoning Cancer Hospital and Institute. He graduated from China Medical University with a bachelor's degree in clinical medicine in June 2011 and from China Medical University with a master's degree with a major in surgery in July 2015. In the same year, he worked in the gastric surgery department of Liaoning Cancer Hospital and published two articles in Chinese core journals and seven articles in English SCI. He is good at basic and clinical research on the invasion and metastasis mechanism of gastric cancer and the comprehensive treatment of gastric cancer and gastric stromal tumors.
Dr. Dongqiu Dai is a chief physician at The Fourth Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in medicine from China Medical University in 1986 and received a doctorate in oncology from China Medical University in 1997. From 2000 to 2002, he was a postdoctoral researcher in molecular oncology at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in the United States. He has been engaged in surgical oncology, chemotherapy, and biological therapy for 20 years. He serves on several national and international scientific advisory boards. He is employed as a member of the Liaoning Oncology Society of the Chinese Medical Association, a member of the Shenyang Oncology Society of the Chinese Medical Association, a member of the National Gastric Cancer Professional Committee of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, a member of the Colorectal and Anal Disease Professional Committee of the Liaoning Branch of the Chinese Society of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, and a member of the Liaoning Society of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine. He is a peer review expert of the Natural Science Foundation of China, a review expert of the Ministry of Education’s Start-up Fund for Returned Overseas Students and the Natural Science Fund of Liaoning Province, and a reviewer of the National Study Abroad Fund. He is also a member of the Liaoning Provincial Medical Accident Technical Appraisal Committee.
