Prof. Yan Zhao is the professor, doctoral supervisor, and the current Vice Dean of the School of Traditional Chinese Medicine at Jilin Agricultural University. He is the top innovative talent in Jilin Province, a member of the Science and Technology Advisory Committee of the Jilin Agricultural University Committee of the 93 Society, and the first-level discipline leader authorized for a Master's degree in Pharmacy at Jilin Agricultural University. He serves as a degree and graduate education evaluation expert of the Ministry of Education, a member of the National Graduate Education Evaluation and Monitoring Expert Database, a member of the National Science and Technology Expert Database of the Ministry of Science and Technology, a drug evaluation expert of Jilin Province, a member of the Jilin Provincial Food Safety Risk Assessment Expert Committee, and a science and technology specialist of Jilin Province. He has led 18 national and provincial-level scientific research projects, including the National Spark Program and the National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as more than ten enterprise horizontal projects. His research interests include the material basis of medicinal effects, safety risk assessment, standard formulation, and product development of authentic traditional Chinese medicine resources with local characteristics such as ginseng, acanthopanax senticosus, short-stemmed acanthopanax senticosus, and sika deer in Jilin Province.
Prof. Ying Zong, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at Traditional Chinese Medicine from Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is also the Master's supervisor, Director of the Department of Animal Medicine at the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and a Visiting scholar at Mississippi State University in the United States. She has led and participated in more than 20 projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Key Research and Development Program, and the Key Research and Development Program of the Jilin Provincial Department of Science and Technology. She has Received one first prize and two third prizes for scientific and technological progress in Jilin Province. Her research interests include the application foundation and product development research of deer products and traditional Chinese veterinary medicine.
Prof. Rui Du is a professor and doctoral supervisor in preventive veterinary medicine, currently serving as the president of Jilin Agricultural University. He is the Chief Scientist of the National Key R&D Program, a national-level Level Candidate for "One Hundred and Ten Thousand Talents", Young and Middle-aged Experts with Outstanding Contributions to the Country, Personnel Enjoying Special Allowances from the State Council, a Distinguished Professor of Changbai Mountain Scholars, First Level Candidate for Top Innovative Talents in Jilin Province, and Leader of Jilin Province's Economic Animal Disease Prevention and Control Innovation Team. He has been engaged in the prevention and control of zoonosis and economic animal infectious diseases for a long time and has systematically researched the epidemiology, pathogenesis, specific diagnosis, and immune prevention of important infectious diseases of livestock (tuberculosis, brucellosis) and major infectious diseases of deer. He has presided over one national key research and development program, six projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, one project funded by the Spark Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, one sub-project of the National Science and Technology Support Program, and more than twenty provincial level projects in Jilin Province.
