Malik Sallam received his M.D. degree from the University of Jordan in 2007, higher specialization in Laboratory Medicine from the University of Jordan in 2012, Jordan Medical Council Specialty degree in Clinical Pathology/Microbiology and Immunology in 2012, and Ph.D. degree in Clinical Virology from Lund University in 2017, and is now an Associate Professor in the School of Medicine at the University of Jordan and a Consultant in Laboratory Medicine at Jordan University Hospital. His research topics mainly include HIV, HCV, HBV, COVID-19, vaccination hesitancy, and generative AI in medical education.
