Dr. Fatih Ölmez is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Plant Protection, Faculty of Agriculture, Sivas University of Science and Technology, Turkey. He received his Master’s Degree from Cukurova University and his Ph.D. from Ondokuz Mayıs University in 2006 and 2015, respectively. Recently, he has worked on cereal breeding, molecular marker development for cereal diseases, functional analysis of fungal genes, and molecular detection of fungicide resistance as a project leader or researcher. He has also been working on agricultural research related to plant pathology, especially cereal diseases, for the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkey for over 13 years.
