Kwon Taek Lim completed his Ph.D. from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Chemistry. He is a professor of Smart Green Technology Engineering at Pukyong National University. He was assigned to Pukyong National University in 1993 and focuses on the synthesis studies of functional polymeric materials such as polymer drug delivery systems. The research on applying the Surfactants for Supercritical CO2 technology developed by Professor Lim to the semiconductor nano process was transferred to Samsung Electronics and is being used for manufacturing 10-nano class semiconductors. His research group focused on the development of novel smart drug delivery systems, such as stimuli-responsive hydrogels and polymeric micelles.
