Prof. Xiaoyan Zhu is a lecturer at the College of Animal Husbandry and Medicine Engineering, Henan Agricultural University, Zhengzhou, China. She received her Ph.D. degree from Gansu Agricultural University in 2011. Her main research focuses on forage nutrition, animal nutrition, and forage processing and utilization. Moreover, she is a member of the Youth Working Committee of the Chinese Grassland Society and the Deputy Secretary-General of the Feed and Forage Branch of the Henan Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Society.
Prof. Defeng Li is a lecturer at the College of Animal Science and Technology, Henan Agricultural University, Zhengzhou, China. He received his M.Sc. degree in Grassland Science from the Gansu Agricultural University in 2005 and his Ph.D. degree in Animal Nutrition and Feed Science from Henan Agricultural University in 2015. Moreover, he is a member of the China Dairy Association and the Grassland Management Committee of the Chinese Grassland Society. His main research focuses on forage production and utilization.
Prof. Yinghua Shi is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the Department of Animal Nutrition and Feed Science at Henan Agricultural University. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Husbandry from Henan Agricultural University in July 1999, her Master’s degree in Animal Nutrition and Feed Science from Henan Agricultural University in July 2002, and her Ph.D. degree in Animal Nutrition and Feed Science from Zhejiang University in June 2005. She is also affiliated with the Henan Key Laboratory of Innovation and Utilization of Grassland Resources (Zhengzhou, China) and Henan Forage Engineering Technology Research Center (Zhengzhou China). She has 55 publications with more than 660 citations (from Scopus, 10 April 2024) and an h-index of 15. Her current research interests focus on fiber nutrition and gut microbiota.
