Loutfi S. Aboussouan received his MD at the American University of Beirut in 1985. He has been a Staff Physician in the Respiratory and Neurological Institutes of the Cleveland Clinic in the USA. He was the Director of the Pulmonary Curriculum for the second-year class of the Cleveland Clinic Lerner School of Medicine from 2006 to 2024. His interests and work have resulted in publications and presentations on the topics of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, neuromuscular diseases, sleep medicine, and long-term ventilator care.
