Hao Hu received his Bachelor of Engineering degree from the College
of Optical Science and Engineering, Zhejiang University in 2016. Then, he
studied for a doctorate at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering,
Nanyang Technological University of Singapore from 2016 to 2020. From 2020 to
2023, he continued his research work as a Research Fellow at Nanyang
Technological University. In 2023, he joined the College of Electronic and Information
Engineering, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, as a Distinguished
Research Scientist. His main research interests include free-particle
radiation, metamaterials/photonic crystals, quantum and nonlocal plasmonics,
topological physics.
Zhihong Liu received a B.Sc. degree from Nankai University, China in 2001, an M.Eng. degree from the Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China in 2004, and a Ph.D. degree from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore in 2011. From 2007 to 2011, he was a Research Associate at the Temasek Laboratories, NTU. He became a Postdoctoral Associate at the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology Center in 2011 and was promoted to a Research Scientist in 2014, and a Principal Research Scientist in 2016. He is now a Professor at Xidian University. His research topics mainly include h-BN, mid-infrared band, plasma modulator, graphene, hybrid waveguide, GaN electronic devices, Switches, two-dimensional high-density electron gas and millimeter-wave devices.
