Dr. Jose Ortiz is a cardiology specialist attached to the Coronary Unit at the Clinic Foundation. He is a coronary unit deputy at the Clinic University Hospital of Barcelona, Spain. He is now a medical doctor at the Hospital Teknon. His research interests include magnetic resonance, computed tomography, heart failure, AXL, MERTK, Gas6, viral infection, coagulation, endothelium, and immune response.
Dr. Jorge Casas is an MD specialist in cardiovascular imaging. He graduated as an MD in 1995 at the University of La Plata and then obtained the degree of specialist in internal medicine; after that, he completed his training at the Favaloro Foundation in Buenos Aires, obtaining the degree of specialist in cardiology. He was president of the Cardiomyopathy Committee at Argentine Federation of Cardiology, is currently a full member and teacher in the Argentine Society of Cardiology, and is an SISIAC Fellow.
Prof. Dr. Arturo Evangelista is the head of the imaging department of Servicio de Cardiologia and has been a director of the Aortic Diseases Unit of Hospital Universitari Vall d´Hebron since 2008. He became a professor at Universidad de Cordoba, Argentina, in 2011. He earned a licentiate in medicine from Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona in 1977 and a doctor in medicine with "Cum Laude" honors from Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona in 1992. From 2015 to 2019, he was a vice president of the Spanish Society of Cardiology.
