Tariq F Alghazzawi is currently an Associate Professor of Prosthodontics in the Department of Substitutive Dental Sciences College of Dentistry, Taibah University, Saudi Arabia, where he is also a consultant for the Faculty Practice Clinic at the university. He obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Dental Surgery from King Saud University, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a Master's of Science in Dentistry, a Master's of Science in Materials Engineering, and a PhD in Materials Engineering from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. He received a Certificate of Advanced Specialty Program in Prosthodontics from the School of Dentistry at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He was awarded a Fulbright Visiting Scholar position by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, the United States Department of State, with the cooperation of the Institute of International Education in 2018. His research interests include the clinical applications of CAD/CAM-generated dental restorations, the evaluation of biomedical properties, marginal fidelity, and the optical characteristics of glass-ceramics and zirconia.
