Sergey Sheshnitsan received his PhD in Biology from the Vladimir State University in 2019. In 2021, he moved to Voronezh State University of Forestry and Technologies and was promoted to Head of the Laboratory of Forest Monitoring and Planning in 2023. His research topics mainly include the following: climate change, biogeochemical cycling, trace elements, forest ecology, plant–soil Interactions, and carbon sequestration.
