Luca Stabile has been an Associate Professor at the Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering, University of Cassino and Southern Lazio, Cassino, Italy since 2019. In 2006, he obtained, with honors, a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio, and in the same year, he qualified as an Engineer in the Industrial Engineering sector. In 2010, he obtained the title of PhD (XXII cycle) at the Doctoral School of Engineering of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Cassino. He is still the local manager of European EMPIR projects on aerosol metrology ("Aerosol metrology for atmospheric science and air quality"). His research interests are the environment; exposure assessment; airborne particles; aerosol; and environmental engineering.
Giorgio Buonanno is currently a Full Professor at the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio, Cassino, Italy. He completed his Ph.D. studies in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Cassino in 1996.
From 2016 to 2019, he was a Full Professor with tenure at the Department of Engineering at the Università degli Studi di Napoli Parthenope. His research interests are measurement emission, air quality, atmospheric pollution, aerosols, air pollution studies, particulate matter, and air pollution modeling.
