Marco Salvetti is a professor and chair of neurology at Sapienza University of Rome. He was awarded the Rita Levi-Montalcini award for research on multiple sclerosis in 1999 and has coordinated the Neuroimmunology Study group of the Italian Society of Neurology. He has acted as Director of the PhD Progam in Clinical and Experimental Neurosciences and Psychiatry of Sapienza University and as Director of the Doctorate School in Neuroscience of Sapienza University. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Italian Multiple Sclerosis Society and a member of the Scientific Steering Committee of
the International Progressive Multiple Sclerosis Alliance.
