Author Biographies

Andriy Burbelko, Prof. D.Sc., is a graduate of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies (formerly DMetI). Major: Metallurgy and heat treatment of metals. Since 1991, he has been an employee of AGH University of Krakow. Since 2019, he has been working as a professor at the Faculty of Foundry Engineering, AGH University. His work in the fields of physical metallurgy, solidification modelling, and foundry engineering has resulted in more then 250 publications.
Tomasz Wiktor received his B.Eng. and M.Sc. in Metallurgy from the AGH University of Krakow in 2010, and is now pursuing Ph.D. in Materials Engineering. He worked as Foundry Methods Engineer at PGO Group S.A. (2012–2014). In 2014, he moved to the Faculty of Foundry Engineering and was promoted to Assistant in 2022. His research topics mainly include foundry engineering.
Aldona Garbacz-Klempka, Ph.D. D.Sc. Eng, is a graduate of the AGH University of Krakow. Major: Metallurgy. Since 2019, she has been working as a professor at the Faculty of Foundry Engineering, AGH University of Krakow. Her work in the disciplines of materials engineering, foundry engineering of non-ferrous alloys, and archaeometallurgy has resulted in more than 150 publications.
Eugeniusz Ziółkowski, PhD, D.Sc. is a graduate of the AGH University of Krakow. Major: Foundry engineering. Since 1989, he has been an employee of AGH University of Krakow. Since 2008, he has been working as a assistant professor at the Faculty of Foundry Engineering, AGH University of Krakow. His work in the fields of mechanization and automation of metallurgical and foundry processes, as well as in numerical modelling of technological processes, has resulted in more then 140 publications.
